Hugo Francisco is a DJ/producer and event coordinator from the coast of Southern California. He is the original founder of Coat Check, which is a music collective and online magazine based out of Boulder, CO. His love for the art of electronic music began at an early age being introduced to Flume and Jamie xx by his older sister. This opened his mind to a whole genre he didn’t know existed and while in university his passion and curiosity for sound progressively grew from house to techno. Hugo is infatuated with the world of the groove and believes that while techno always goes through trends that come and go, grooves last forever.

Hugo’s dj sets are explosive and sexy accompanied by contagious basslines and nonstop grooves. He loves to uniquely blend hard groove, 90’s rave, minimal, and atmospheric breaks to create special moments. As he continues to carve his own path within the music industry he is staying true to his mission to cultivate organic connections and unique experiences through sound and rhythm.
